Frequently Asked Questions
Is The Antidote a theatre show?
The event takes the form of an interactive theatrical experience with a cabaret at its heart and a party afterwards.
From the moment you enter, you are immersed in a strange and wonderful world in the near future, and you are guided through the experience.
Arrival is between 20 and 21, and there's some time to dress-up and socialise until the cabaret starts around 21.45. The show runs til 23 and then it's a party til 01.
Is it a party with loud music and alcohol?
Music will be medium loud - the venue has neighbours so they've asked us to keep it down.
The bar serves a great selection of cocktails as well as coffee, tea and soft drinks. Our wonderful "house cocktail" will be revealed later in the evening.
What is expected of guests?
Guests are invited to dress up and are given a few simple actions to perform during the evening. You are not obliged to participate but you will probably have more fun if you do.
Do I need acting experience to take part?
Absolutely not! The role-play element is minimal, you can just be yourself and enjoy the event. And if you feel like going more into it, there will definitely be space for that too.
